Judy Loe who plays Lulli, a magician’s assistant in the new series Ace of Wands, had a trick of her own up the sleeve when she went to buy clothes for the role. She chose the kind of wardrobe that would suit her off the screen.
Said Judy: "I settled on clothes I could use afterwards. Fortunately my choice fitted in with the producer’s and I got them at a reduced rate."
Fashion note for the trendy: Judy is wearing grandma’s vest. "They have brought it up to date . It’s in cotton, in high fashion, but is really the type I wore as a child and which older people still wear," says Judy.
The trousers are in pigskin, the hat is fashioned in black suede, sombrero
style and the vest is belted around the waist with leather thongs.
