This section contains links to transcriptions of various press articles. The intention, initially at least, is to restrict the contents of this section to pieces that appeared while the series was being transmitted, rather than those that have appeared in the last few years in magazines such as Time Screen, Starburst and TV Zone.
The articles are listed in two ways, firstly chronologically, secondly, as an alternative, by source publication. If you have a feel for which order is easy to deal with, please e-mail me. I'll probably keep both sets going, but if everyone seems to find one list rather than the other more useful, it would at least make sense to move it to the top.
Where I've quoted dates for articles in the TVTimes it refers to the issue date, which is the Thursday before the Saturday on which the listing section starts. This section is by no means complete. If you know of anything I haven't listed here - do let me know.
I have very few issues of TVTimes that cover this period and my only access is to bound copies in a local library. This makes photocopying the pieces difficult as the edge nearest the binding tends to be very out of focus on the copy. This is the main reason why the majority of the articles I have transcribed describe rather than show the picture(s) accompanying them. Hopefully this will improve over time.
