During the course of writing the article contained in the history section, I contacted a small number of people involved with the series and asked them a few questions.  The interviews were conducted by post - which may help to explain the stilted nature of the questions and the reason why I don't follow up some of the more interesting replies.  I've occasionally broken up some of my multi-part questions into two or more and split the answers accordingly for readability, but otherwise I haven't tinkered with it.  Some of the questions may seen very naive and basic now, but remember, at the time I was writing collecting information for the article, I don't think I'd seen any episodes of the series in ten years and I had found no other articles or interviews of any note, other than contemporary ones, in any publications.

One more note. In the fourteen years since these took place, I appear to have mislaid the exact questions I asked Pamela Lonsdale and P. J. Hammond (although I appear to have taken numerous photocopies of those I sent to Trevor and Michael). Hopefully I've reproduced them accurately enough for Pamela's and P.J.'s answers to still be valid, although it does mean that one of Pamela's answers has been removed as I no longer have any idea to what "Difficult to answer. It was a long time ago." refers!

Thanks to the above for their help then and now. I hope, eventually, to expand this section further.
